But first he had to endure abuse, which led to becoming a drug addict. He began using drugs at the tender age of 11 to escape the pain, and continued punishing himself for 17 years. Through all the darkness, Jimmy has learned that Christ takes a devastated life and makes it a testimony to His wonderful love, to His saving and redeeming power and uses it to reach the hurting and lost. The Lord saved Jimmy in 1993 and changed his life forever. Now 16 years clean, he is beginning to gain momentum as he realizes his potential in Him. It has taken the Lord all these years of re-building and training, to mold him into the man he is today (with much more molding to do) and the direction in which he should go.
